HexiTherm™ Adhesives for I-joists
I-joist designs are continually
being enhanced to work better in a host of applications.
Hexion provides a variety of high performance adhesives
to improve the strength, versatility and heat resistance
of I-joist flange components. With Hexion
adhesives, manufacturers are taking designs to a new level.
Third-party, full-scale testing on engineered beams using
thermoset-based adhesives has shown that, under high stress,
they outperform engineered beams that utilize alternative
chemistries such as polyurethane by a wide margin.
Whatever your assembly, Hexion provides a broad range
of phenolic- and melamine-based adhesives to meet fire
rating requirements.
