HexiTherm™ Adhesives for Fire-rated Doors

HexiTherm adhesives help engineered wood doors meet a range of fire ratings from 90 down to 20 minutes.

Manufacturers can choose from one-component and emulsified-phenolic Polyvinyl Acetate (PVAc) systems, depending on their fire-rating requirements. Heat and ambient-cure formulas are also available.

XB Series

• Cross-linking emulsion and thermosetting adhesive options
• Must be catalyzed immediately prior to use
• Excellent water resistance
• Formulations optimized for cold set, hot pressing and radio-frequency (RF) curing

WB/DB Series

• One part, cross-linking polyvinyl acetate (PVA) emulsion
